Dr. Odelia Elkana is a certified Rehabilitation Psychologist and a senior lecturer at The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo, where she serves as the Head of the Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Graduate Program.
Dr. Elkana received her doctorate from the Hebrew University, Department of Psychology and Brain science. Her work has been presented in international conferences and published in leading peer-reviewed journals including Cortex, Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, Neuropsychology review, The World Journal of Biological Psychiatry, Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology,Frontiers Neuroscience, Personality and Individual Differences and more.
Dr. Elkana also served as an associated editor in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease (JAD).
In recent years Dr. Elkana's research is dedicated to the field of Psycho-diagnostics and Neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Elkana strives to monitor and develop accurate psychological measures, tools and interventions for various pathologies and to validate them. These include Age related Cognitive decline; Mild Cognitive Impairment; Chronic pain and specifically Fibromyalgia ; PTSD (in advanced preparation).
