The school is a strong proponent of experiential learning and puts theory to practice through a numerous mentorship programs and collaborations between students and the Israeli business community. As an integrated component of their course work, undergraduate and graduate students team up with leading corporations, organizations and institutions to gain firsthand knowledge and experience within their concentration, with an emphasis on corporate social responsibility and entrepreneurship.
The school conducts a BA degree program in Economics and Management; a joint multidisciplinary BA degree program in Information Systems; an MBA degree program; an MA degree program in Organizational Management and Consulting; and is soon to open the college’s first international MBA degree in Impact Entrepreneurship.
The school’s inspired faculty are spearheading joint research projects with scholars and business leaders from Israel and around the world to proactively address issues of corporate governance, family and minority business, the economy of ideas, and the shared economy.
The MTA Entrepreneurship Center assists students from all five of the college’s schools to develop innovative ideas into successful business ventures. With an emphasis on social and environmental issues, the center runs training programs tailored for young entrepreneurs and business leaders from Israel and abroad. The school also partners with established community organizations from South Tel Aviv and Yaffo to offering entrepreneurship programs for underserved and at-risk youth.
B.Sc. degree in Information Systems
Information Systems is a multidisciplinary program run by the MTA School of Computer Science and the School of Economics and Management. The program which prepares students for a career in IT, a fast-paced and ever-evolving technology field where demand for professionals is on the rise.
The program provides students with a problem solving and technical skill-set required in this dynamic field. Areas of study include, but are not limited to: software analysis, implementation and management of business information systems; management of computer network and people networks; databases design and management; design and management of computer and information security.
The program maintains unique partnership agreements with leading players in the IT industry to ensure professional training and future employment opportunities for graduates.
Cyber Challenge is a collaborative event of RMIT University and the Academic College of Tel Aviv Yaffo. The challenge, conducted by Check-Point, the Israeli multinational security provider, gives the students an opportunity to engage both in real life challenges while working in collaboration with students from around the world.
