School of Nursing Science
In a short span of five years, the School of Nursing Science has become one of the MTA’s leading departments.Established in response to an urgent call from the Ministry of Health, the school plays a major part in the reform of nursing training in Israel thanks to an inclusive program that prepares a diverse workforce of healthcare practitioners for gainful and meaningful employment.
The school offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree which combines rigorous theoretical and clinical studies alongside practical training in leading hospitals and clinics for the expressed purpose of preparing graduates for a demanding work environment. Whats more, a groundbreaking track for Haredi (ultra-orthodox) men includes additional academic and social support in order to assist their integration in the workforce.
MTA is developing a new Center for Public Health to study and develop new approaches for the delivery of public health services addressing primary, preventive and rehabilitative healthcare. The Center will focus on the needs of marginalized populations and the fruits of our research will help make all public healthcare facilities and provision more efficient and effective while answering to the personal needs of patients and healthcare workers alike.
