Global Entrepreneurship Hackathon
Hackathon, a global entrepreneurial ideation student marathon-project commenced this year in a collaboration with Kingston London and Montpellier University. The participants were comprised of 152 students from Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Management studies. The students exemplified great cultural diversity, including but not limited to the diversity of their mother tongues (Norwegian, Russian, Thai, Korean, Hebrew, Arabic, Spanish, French and more ...) The hackathon took place over the course of 10 days. During those 10 days, students worked together in multicultural teams and devised an innovative solution to one of the major challenges defined by the UN: UN Sustainable Development Goal no. 11. Industry experts from Israel, England, and France will provide feedback on the teams' innovative ideas, which were backed by a business model for a defined target audience.
MTA had 48 students from the Entrepreneurship track in the Department of Management and Economics, and from the specialization in digital innovation in the Department of Information Systems participating.
