Short Bio
Shachar Grembek is a lecturer and tech entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the tech industry, spanning roles in academia, corporates, and successful start-ups. As a lecturer, he focuses on Artificial Intelligence and entrepreneurship, inspiring students to innovate and lead in the digital age.
In the tech industry, Shachar co-founded Reps AI, a start-up that optimized customer service for clients like easyJet and Marks & Spencer, reducing service time by 30%. The company was acquired by KMS Lighthouse in 2020. Prior to this, he founded Wispa, a pioneering start-up in social network text analysis, recognized as one of Israel’s 10 most promising start-ups. As the second employee at Monday.com, he contributed significantly to its early success, shaping its strategy, fundraising, and infrastructure.
Previously, Shachar worked at SAP’s CTO division, leading the development of Duet, the first joint product by SAP and Microsoft.
Beyond his professional career, Shachar is a strong advocate for social equality. He founded LGBTech, an NGO promoting workplace inclusion in Israel, and serves on the Advisory Committee to the National Commissioner on Equal Employment Opportunities.
Shachar holds a BA in Computer Science and an MBA.
