Short Bio

David Tobias has wide technological and business cred, earned over several decades. He spent over 35 years at the Israeli ICT industry, working as CIO and S.V.P for Information Technology in finance, aerospace & defense, government, education and retail sectors.

Over the years, David gained considerable experience in planning strategically for local and international businesses (at Israel Aerospace Industries, Bank of Israel  and Leumi Bank)  by supporting global information system endeavors. He had worked on significant undertakings in different markets including Israel, Europe, United States, and India.

David was a board member of Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange and of Snunuit NGO, a member of the governing committee of Adams Institute at Tel-Aviv University and a governing member of Israel Chamber of Information Systems.

David earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and MBA degree from Tel-Aviv University. He has MA degree from Bar-Ilan University at the Science, Technology and Society department. Currently he is a PhD student at Bar-Ilan University. David was a member of the CIO Leadership center at INSEAD University.

David is married to Vivian, and has two sons.
