You directly provide MTA with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

MTA collects your data so that we can:

  • Process and manage your account.

  • Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.

  • Registration for conferences and distribution of newsletter in connection with the project.

 

MTA may share your data with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency acting under powers delegated by the European Commission, and other entities on the European Commission’s behalf, for reporting purposes only.


In addition, if you register for conferences within the framework of the project, MTA may share your data with other academic institutions participating in the project in order to plan and prepare such activities and conferences.


If you agree, MTA will share your data with our partner companies so that they may offer you their products and services.


MTA will share your data with Wix.com Ltd. the website platform.

How do we store your data?

MTA securely stores your data on the server farm located physically on the college grounds. The materials and the net are protected by a firewall made by Fortinet and an applicative firewall from the Impreva company.


The project's website is based on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com Ltd. is based in Israel, which is considered by the European Commission to be offering an adequate level of protection for the Personal Information of EU Member State residents.


Wix may store Personal Information in data centers located in the United States of America, Ireland, Japan and Israel. Wix may use other jurisdictions as necessary to properly deliver their services and/or as may be required by law. For further information, please refer to Wix Privacy Policy.

Marketing

MTA would like to send you information about MTA’s activities that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies. Such information may include newsletters in connection with the project, invitations to participate in conferences, information about MTA, and further academic information such as information about educational institutions, academic programs, academic publications, etc.


You have the right at any time to stop MTA from contacting you for marketing purposes.

What are your data protection rights?

MTA would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:


The right to access - You have the right to request MTA for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
