MTA has established an international collaboration with the University of Connecticut (UConn), ranked among the 25 top public universities in the USA. This collaboration will encourage direct contacts and cooperation between faculty members, graduate and undergraduate students, departments, institutes, and academic planning staff. The joint academic and scientific activities that will be promoted include mutually beneficial collaborative research projects between departments and individual faculty members; faculty member exchange for the purpose of research, teaching, and the presentation of seminars, as well as graduate and undergraduate student exchange; joint supervision of graduate research students; joint research projects in fields of mutual interest; exchange of academic publications and reports; the sharing of experiences in innovative teaching methods and course design; and joint symposia, workshops, and conferences.
MTA, in partnership with the European Academy of Work (EAdA) at the University of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, the Macro Center of Political Economics, Israel, and the Hans-BÖckler-Foundation (HBS), now offers an International Certificate Program, in which students are offered a full, one-year scholarship to study one semester in Israel and one in Germany in order to enrich their academic knowledge regarding scientific work and methods, sociology, industrial relations, the future of work and digital economy, labor laws, politics and economics. The Program targets students seeking a career in trade unions, NGOs, the field of co-determination, or social, welfare or political organizations. EAdA is a private foundation of the German Trade Union Confederation, the State of Hesse and the city of Frankfurt am Main that seeks to train workers for activities in business and public life in an effort to promote the democratic participation of employees in the state, society and companies.
Located in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province, China, Guangdong University of Education (GDUE) is a regional undergraduate institution for multi-disciplinary studies and a prominent center for education studies in South China. MTA has established a partnership with GDUE that involves information sharing, reciprocal visits by staff and students for the purposes of advancing research, conducting lectures and attending conferences, and the promotion of collaborative research and study programs among the two partners. A unique aspect of these ties is the arrangement of short-term missions of students from GDUE to learn about innovation and entrepreneurship at MTA.
Institute for Study Abroad, Inc. (IFSA), provides international education programs and academic and personal support services for undergraduate students in North America. IFSA offers student orientation and excursions, college study abroad programs, post-study abroad services, pre-departure services, and other student services. The IFSA program at MTA involves IFSA recruiting U.S. university students to earn academic credits at MTA in the fields of business, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The first private university in Poland, SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) has been ranked by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education as the leading higher education institution offering Social Sciences programs in Poland. MTA and SWPS have agreed to strengthen academic ties through the promotion of academic exchange, including visits by staff and students to the partner institute for the purposes of research, lectures and conferences, and cooperation in teaching and research.
Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia
MTA has a bilateral agreement with Swinburne University to establish a joint research and training center, which will expand research capacity of each institutions, and foster government and industry partnerships between Israel and Australia, in the areas of:

The new research training center will also offer advanced teaching, by running partnered Masters programs, and offering an offshore PhD program
International Cyber Hackathon
The Cyber Challenge Hackathon is an international event pioneered by the Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo and RMIT University. Led by Israeli multinational and cyber-security solutions powerhouse Check Point Software, the hackathon provides Israeli students the opportunity to engage in real-life challenges in collaboration with Computer Science students from around the world.
Located in Jyväskylä, Central Finland, JAMK University of Applied Sciences is an international higher education institution with expertise in 8 different fields of study. MTA has established a partnership with JAMK and look forward to strengthening our relationship through opportunities like Erasmus+ mobility. With three degree programs in English: Logistics Engineering International Business and Nursing we look to harness academic ties through the promotion of academic exchange, including visits by staff and students to the partner institute for the purposes of research, lectures and conferences, and cooperation in teaching and research.
Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences
MTA has signed a partnership with Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences, experts in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business and Economics, Mechanical Engineering, and Business Law. We look forward to developing our relationship with Schmalkhalden in the form of semester long and short term study programs.
