Short Bio
Prof. Zuta holds a Ph. D. degree from the New York University Stern School of Business. She taught at various institutions in the U.S. and Israel, among them New York university, University of Maryland and Tel Aviv University. She completed a B.Sc. degree in Pure Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Operations Research at the School of Mathematical Sciences in Tel Aviv University.
Her research focuses on corporate governance, with an emphasis on boards of directors, audit committees and compensation policies. Her earlier research concentrated on mergers, acquisitions and restructuring.
Over the past 15 years, she has been serving as a board member of various public and government-owned companies in Israel, among them a bank, a Real Estate Investment Trust and holding companies. She also served on audit committees, compensation committees and investment committees as a Chairperson and as a member.
Prof. Zuta now serves as the Chairperson of the Administrative Committee at Amitim Senior Pension Fund, the largest institutional investor in Israel.
She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Pinhas Sapir Center for Development at Tel Aviv University.
In addition, she is a member of The Leadership Team of the NYU Alumni Club of Israel.
